I usually wear a size 12-13 ring, and I tried on a 12.5. It's a little loose once it's all the way on my finger. However, my knuckles are a bit large, so it catches when putting it on and taking it off, and I think it would be difficult to wear if I went down any further in size. The back of the stone isn't very pointed, so I don't think it will hurt if it rubs against my finger.
