Breastplates were worn as a symbol to inspire oneself and to engrave pride in one's heart during ceremonies and battles.
At WAKAN, we inherit that spirit and have crafted rings and necklaces.
Instead of nail holes, we've engraved diamond-shaped stamp work.
This diamond pattern is a geometric design in Native American culture that symbolizes the golden eagle feathers adorning war bonnets.
It is a testament to courage and honor,
and eagles have been believed to soar high and carry prayers to the heavens.
Beyond being mere ornaments,
these pieces are created with respect for the Native Americans who once fought,
and with the hope that they will ignite a spark in the hearts of all people today who face daily challenges.
