/// Breastplate ///

This series reimagines the breastplates worn by Native Americans and the horseshoes attached to horses during battle, bringing them into a modern context.

These items were worn as a symbol to inspire oneself and instill pride during rituals and battles.

At WAKAN, we inherit that spirit and craft it into rings and necklaces.

The diamond pattern carved into the parts is a geometric pattern symbolizing the golden eagle feathers adorning Native American war bonnets.
It is a testament to courage and honor,
and the eagle was believed to soar high in the sky, carrying prayers to heaven.

Beyond being mere adornments,
these pieces are created with respect for the Native Americans who once fought,
and with the hope that they will quietly ignite a spark in the hearts of all people who continue to face daily challenges in the modern world.

Navajo pearls are silver beads handmade using traditional techniques by the Native American Navajo tribe.

They are alternately combined with black tourmaline beads.
Lighter than they look, they are easy to enjoy.

The clasp is an original part that fastens by interlocking the gaps between the two components.
