This series takes inspiration from the breastplates worn by Native Americans and the horseshoes fitted to horses during battle, reinterpreting them in a modern style.
These pieces were worn as symbols to inspire oneself and instill pride in one's heart during ceremonies and battles.
At WAKAN, we inherit this spirit, crafting rings and necklaces.
The菱形模様 (lozenge pattern) carved into the parts is a geometric pattern in Native American culture that symbolizes the golden eagle feathers adorning war bonnets.
It is a testament to courage and honor,
and eagles were believed to soar high, carrying prayers to the heavens.
Going beyond mere ornamentation,
these pieces are created with respect for the Native Americans who once fought,
and with the hope that they will gently ignite a spark in the hearts of all people who continue to face daily challenges in the present day.
Navajo pearls are silver beads handmade using the traditional methods of the Native American Navajo tribe.
They are interspersed with black tourmaline beads.
Lighter than they look, they are easy to wear and enjoy.
The clasp is an original part that fastens by interlocking the gaps between the two components.
