This series is a modern reimagining inspired by the breastplates worn by Native Americans and the horseshoes attached to horses during battle.
These were worn as symbols to inspire oneself and engrave pride in one's heart during ceremonies and battles.
At WAKAN, we inherit that spirit and craft it into rings and necklaces.
The菱形pattern carved into the parts is a geometric pattern symbolizing the golden eagle feathers adorned on warbonnets in Native American culture.
It is a testament to courage and honor,
and eagles have been believed to soar high and carry prayers to the heavens.
Beyond being mere adornments,
these pieces are created with respect for the Native Americans who once fought,
and with the hope of gently igniting a spark in the hearts of all people who continue to face daily challenges.
Navajo pearls are silver beads handmade using the traditional methods of the Native American Navajo tribe.
They are interspersed with black tourmaline beads.
Lighter than they appear, they are easy to wear and enjoy.
The clasp is an original design that fastens by interlocking the two parts.
