/// Breastplate ///

This series is a modern reinterpretation inspired by the breastplates worn by Native Americans and the horseshoes attached to horses during battle.

They were worn as symbols to inspire themselves and instill pride in their hearts during rituals and battles.

WAKAN inherits that spirit, crafting them into rings and necklaces.

The diamond pattern carved into the parts is a geometric pattern symbolizing the golden eagle feathers adorning the war bonnets of Native Americans.
It is a testament to courage and honor, and the eagle has been believed to soar high and carry prayers to the heavens.

Beyond being mere adornments,
they are created with respect for the Native Americans who once fought,
and with the hope that they will serve as a spark to gently ignite the hearts of all people who continue to face daily challenges in the modern world.

Navajo pearls are silver beads handmade using the traditional methods of the Native American Navajo tribe.

They are interspersed with white onyx beads.
Lighter than they appear, they are easy to enjoy.

The clasp is an original part that fastens by interlocking the gaps between both pieces.
