/// Breastplate ///
This series is a modern reinterpretation inspired by the breastplates worn by Native Americans and the horseshoes attached to horses during battle.

These were worn as a symbol to encourage oneself and to engrave pride in one's heart during ceremonies and battles.

WAKAN inherits that spirit, crafting them into rings and necklaces.

The diamond pattern carved into the parts is a geometric pattern symbolizing the golden eagle feathers adorned on war bonnets in Native American culture.
It is a testament to courage and honor,
and eagles have been believed to soar high in the sky, carrying prayers to heaven.

Going beyond mere ornamentation,
these pieces are crafted with respect for the Native Americans who once fought,
and with the hope that they will softly ignite a spark in the hearts of all people
who continue to face daily challenges in the modern world.

Navajo pearls are silver beads handmade using the traditional methods of the Native American Navajo tribe.

They are alternately combined with white onyx beads.
Lighter than they appear, they are easy to enjoy.

The clasp is an original part that fastens by interlocking the gaps between the two components.

I felt that this necklace, perhaps because of the white onyx beads, didn't look too hard and seemed like something I, as a woman, could use casually. The clasp was large and easy to grasp, and since it's a hook type, it was easy to put on and take off even with nail polish.
