/// Breastplate & Spirit Horse Shoe ///
This series takes inspiration from the breastplates worn by Native Americans and the horseshoes attached to horses during battle, reinterpreting them for modern times.

These items were worn as symbols of pride, to uplift the wearer during ceremonies and in battle.

At WAKAN, we inherit that spirit, crafting them into rings and bracelets.

The horseshoe motif is adorned with rope decoration, familiar in Indian jewelry, evoking the image of reins.

In place of nail holes, a diamond-shaped stamp work is carved.

This diamond pattern is a geometric motif that symbolizes the golden eagle feathers adorning the war bonnets of Native Americans.
It is a testament to courage and honor,
and the eagle was believed to soar high, carrying prayers to the heavens.

Going beyond mere ornamentation,
these pieces are created with respect for the Native Americans who once fought,
and with the hope that they will softly ignite a spark in the hearts of all people
who continue to face daily challenges in the modern world.

A pendant featuring a horseshoe motif with a diamond-shaped geometric pattern, symbolizing eagle feathers, carved with stamp work.

The clasp is an original design that fastens by interlocking the gaps between two parts.
