A Hopi chain made by shaping flat metal strips, like ribbons, passed down by the Hopi tribe, into rings (links) and connecting them together.
This bracelet is carefully crafted, with delicate hand-engraved arabesque (interlacing patterns) on each link, extending even to the toggle clasp.
It expresses the way plant leaves and stems grow and intertwine. The growth of leaves and stems is also said to be an auspicious pattern.
At WAKAN, we have made the arabesque pattern, often seen in native jewelry, even finer and more delicate to evoke an elegant atmosphere.
